Ocean Premier League - 2018 (OPL2018) is organized by Ocean Sports Events (OPL) in India, starting on Saturday, 17 Feb 2018 and ending on Sunday, 11 Mar 2018. The series will be played at Dahisar Sports Foundation Ground , Dahisar (E) , Mumbai , Maharashtra, India.

Ocean Sports Presents Rules & Regulation for the OPL Box 2020

  1. The entire team members has to be present on 15th MAR 2020 at Equinox Business Park Ground floor near Tower 4, Bandra Kurla Complex, Kurla, Mumbai, at the given time
  2. Tournament will be played between 12 teams, divided in 4 groups, (A,B,C,D) each team will get 2 league matches in the groups. One Winner of each group's team will qualify for semi final.(On the basis of Points & NRR)
  3. Each team will be given Grace Period of 15 minutes , if still the team is not present at the time of match will be disqualified from the tournament.
  4. All player should carry their original Company’s photo ID, in case of absence of original photo ID strict action will be taken by OPL committee. Players not registered with OPL will not be entertained.
  5. All Matches will be of 5 overs per inning ( As time permit) .
  6. Bowling Format – 2-1-1-1.
  7. Bowler can take maximum two steps run-up only.
  8. Runner’s will be allowed with the permission of the umpire.
  9. If the ball hits the roof and the player catches the ball then it is out.
  10. Sports shoes without spikes and studs along with full track pant are compulsory.
  11. Full arm, Side arm above hips and pace bowling not allowed (Final decision of pace and side arm will be umpires call).
  12. Free Hit after every NO Ball.
  13. Umpire decision will be FINAL in all respect.
  14. Final would be played on the same day, winning team need to stay back for Semi Final and Final match.
  15. Rest ICC Rules are applicable.
  16. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted . All Captain are responsible for briefing his team on the rules of the Tournament.
  17. Team would be disqualified for any misconduct by any of their players
  18. In the event of any problems arising and not covered by these rules, decision of the sports committee of OCEAN PREMIER LEAGUE will have final authority and decide for the good and welfare competition. Any decision taken by the Committee would be final.
  19. Prize and Trophy distribution will be later, we will send invitation to all the participants.
  20. MOTO behind the tournament is to promote Sports and Create Peace & Harmony among the people.

  1. The entire team members has to be present on or before for the given time on 29th Feb 2020 at Dahisar Sports Foundation, Opp Vidhyamandir School, Dahisar East, Mumbai 400 068.
  2. All the players should be representative of their respective companies ,and should carry their valid Photo ID proof , all players names should be mentioned on Company's letterhead with stamp and singnature of authorised person, whether newly joint or hired on contract basis , at the time of all matches.
  3. Each team will be given Grace Period of 15 minutes , if still the team is not present at the time of match will be disqualified from the tournament.
  4. We request all the Team members to be present on the ground at least half an hour before each match.
  5. All Matches will be 8 overs per inning ( As time permit) .
  6. Maximum 2 Overs per Bowler.
  7. Throw bowling strictly not allowed.
  8. Free Hit after every NO Ball.
  9. Umpire decision will be FINAL in all respect.
  10. Rest ICC Rules are applicable.
  11. Team would be penalize for the misconduct by any of their players and can be disqualified from the Tournament. (Team Captain will be responsible for the same).
  12. Decision of the sports committee of OCEAN PREMIER LEAGUE will be FINAL.
